We are on to championship season! Be sure to follow our athletes' swims this weekend at the Senior Metropolitan Championships. Please note: spring practice schedules begin Monday, February 17 .
Winter Meet Updates
Senior Metropolitan Championships
February 13 - 16; Nassau County Aquatic Center

Swimmer Call Times:
  • Thursday 800 freestyle - 3:30pm
  • Thursday relay - 4:30pm
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday preliminaries - 7:15am
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday finals - Please check with your lead coach at the conclusion of each preliminary session for call times.

Uniform Requirements:
  • Swimmer's choice AGUA shirt Thursday, black AGUA shirt Friday, gray AGUA shirt Saturday, green AGUA shirt Sunday.
  • Get spectator tickets here. Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event; there will be no tickets sold at the door.
HMST 8 & Under Finale
February 23; Hopkins School, New Haven, CT

Final entries are available here.

Swimmer Call Times:
  • Boys - 7:45am
  • Girls - 11:45am

AGUA Swim Team members are expected to use appropriate language and speaking volume at all times. The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited. Use a lock to protect your valuables.

  • Battery Park City campus - Cellar-level; February 13 at 5pm and February 15 at 9am

Great Work at LIE Second Chance Challenge
Congratulations to our senior swimmers for wrapping up winter meets with great swims! Our athletes raced to new championship qualifications for the Senior Metropolitan Championships and Eastern Zone Sectional Championships.

This month, our coaches offer insight on mental energy and the best time to take a break to maximize your swim season. You will also find suggestions for staying in the moment during competition and a Q&A with Senior II Coach  Brad Green.
Coming Soon: AGUA Summer Swim Camp
AGUA's annual summer swim camps are designed to meet the specific needs of our swimmers. Camp days run from 8am to 4pm and include two swim sessions, dryland training, team building activities, and catered lunch. Swim campers get an AGUA camp t-shirt and swim cap.


Summer swim camp dates are as follows:

AGUA Rising Star Camp
AG1 and AG2 swimmers
  • June 29 through July 3

AGUA Elite Camp
Long course AG3 swimmers
  • July 13 through July 17
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available. Limit two lessons per athlete, per month. One may take place during the first 15 days of the month and one from the 15 th through the end of the month. Click here to log in and purchase your sessions.

Sign Up to Be an AGUA Official
One of the most critical parts of running a high-quality swim meet is having a team of certified and experienced officials. AGUA is fortunate enough to have such a great team of officials made up of AGUA parents – past and present.

Please help us maintain the tradition of staffing our meets with AGUA officials by getting certified. This is a terrific way to contribute to the team while also learning more about swimming.

If you are interested in hearing more about the certification process, please click here or contact AGUA meet referees Rachel Skaistis or Sharon Greenberg. It is an incredibly rewarding position that makes meets fly by!

  • Senior II and National will swim from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
  • AG4 Gold will swim from 6:30pm to 8pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus. Dryland will be from 5:45pm to 6:15pm.

Thursday, February 13
  • Senior II and National practices are canceled.
  • Senior I will swim from 7pm to 8:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus. Dryland is canceled.
  • AG4 Green and Gold will swim from 5:30pm to 7pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus. AG4 Green dryland practice is canceled.
  • AG3 Gold will swim from 5:30pm to 7pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.

Friday, February 14
  • Senior II and National practices are canceled.
  • Senior I will swim from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.

Saturday, February 15
  • Senior II and National practices are canceled.
  • AG4 Green and Gold will swim 7:30am to 9:30am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus. Dryland practice is canceled.

Sunday, February 16
  • National practice is canceled.
  • Senior I will swim from 8am to 9:30am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.

Monday, February 17: Spring schedule begins
  • AG4 Green and Gold will swim as regularly scheduled at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
  • Senior I, Senior II, and National practices are canceled (see below).
  • Senior swimmers will practice from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
