Congratulations to AGUA swimmers, families, alumni, and coaches for earning gold medal status in the 2021 USA Swimming Club Excellence Program! AGUA came in 18th out of over 3,000 swim teams across the country. This is our highest rank ever, jumping up 20 places from 2020!
The USA Swimming Club Excellence Program is a voluntary program that recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to performance excellence. The program's goal is to support the development of the nation's top 18-and-under athletes.
Each year, only the top 25 teams in the country earn gold medal status. AGUA had multiple athletes contribute to the overall tally of 18,709 performance points. The swims account for an international medal, an 18-and-under National Champion, and many Metropolitan Swimming records along the way.
