Great Work at TYR LC Winter Invitational

Congratulations to our swimmers who raced at the 2023 TYR LC Winter Invitational at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center in Piscataway, NJ! AGUA athletes competed against the northeast's top teams and earned many personal best times, championship cuts, and more.

The AGUA team was led by Alegra Teixidor-Salerno who posted the top time in the country so far this season for 14-year-old girls in the 200 meter breaststroke. Alegra's time of 2:38.63 also earned her a third-place finish for all ages at the meet. Alegra also scored in the 100 breaststroke (fourth) and 400 IM (12th).

Reminder: Upcoming Notable Dates

• Monday, February 20 – Friday, February 24, 2023: Long course season group placements announced. If your swimmer turns 11, 13, or 15 by May 31, 2023, they will likely be placed in a new group for the long course season.
• Monday, February 27, 2023: Spring schedule begins. Swimmers will remain in current groups until April 10, 2023.
• Monday, April 3 – Sunday, April 9, 2023: AGUA team spring break. All practices canceled.
• Monday, April 10, 2023: Long course group placements begin.
