AGUA Practice Update
At this point in time, we are still awaiting guidance from our local government about pool openings and procedures. We understand that there is a wealth of new information each day. As pertinent information becomes available, we will pass it on to our families. We appreciate your continued support through these unprecedented times. 
AGUA Elite Swim Camps
Please note that there will be no AGUA Elite Swim Camp offered before July 20, 2020. However, we are excited to offer the following extended schedule:

NEW CAMP DATES
  • Session 1: July 2024*
  • Session 2: July 2731 
  • Session 3: August 37
  • Session 4: August 1014
  • Session 5: August 1721
  • Session 6: August 2428

*Session 1 is reserved for 11- to 14-year-old swimmers previously registered for AGUA Elite Swim Camp.

Swimmers are welcome to register for any number of sessions, pending availability. Capacity has been modified to meet all current CDC, state, and local guidelines. Stay tuned for registration information.
AGUA Swim Camp FAQ

When can I register for camp?
  • Stay tuned; registration details will be provided in the coming weeks.

What safety guidelines will camp be following?
  • Asphalt Green and AGUA are monitoring and adhering to current CDC, state, and local guidelines.

Will there be swimming during camp?
  • Yes. Current plans for camp include up to two swimming sessions per day for all campers.

How long are camp days?
  • Camp is currently scheduled to run from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

What age group is swim camp geared toward?
  • The first week of swim camp is designed for 11- to 14-year-old swimmers. The following week's curriculum will be adjusted to serve all campers. Camps may be split into smaller groups in order to accommodate swimmers ages 6 to 14.

How does camp affect AGUA practice?
  • AGUA Elite Camp runs independently of AGUA Swim Team practices. While camp will not start prior to July 20, 2020, team practices may begin sooner if permitted by local government. Once our pool is permitted to open, practices will begin with senior groups.

Please note that camp details are subject to change. We will continue to make adjustments as needed. Stay tuned for more information and registration information in the coming weeks.

Former AGUA Athlete Leads Swimmers for Change
The swimming community is raising awareness and supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Led by former AGUA athlete @Lia_neal , Swimmers for Change is powered by over 30 U.S. Olympic, Paralympic, and National Team swimmers. Its mission is to raise awareness about systemic racism and fundraise to support charities that empower Black communities. The initiative continues this week with free daily webinars through Friday, June 26. Each webinar will address topics ranging from mental health, nutrition, leadership, workouts, and more.

All practices are canceled until further notice. Please refer to your lead group coach's dryland workouts to maintain your training.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Asphalt Green has made the difficult decision to close both locations and suspend all programs and classes. We look forward to reopening as soon as possible.
