As we move forward with exciting events for spring and summer, please read today's newsletter in its entirety so your swimmer does not miss out on any of the action.
Register Now: AGUA Memorial Day Time Trial
Registration is open for our Memorial Day time trial on May 29 and 30 at our Upper East Side campus. The time trial will be our first long course meet of the season. Register by Saturday, May 1 to guarantee entry.
Memorial Day Time Trial Sessions
Swimmers will be permitted to swim three races and are assigned to sessions based on age, not practice group.

SATURDAY, MAY 29
Session 1: 10 & under swimmers
Check-in 10:45am; racing 11:30am; exit by 1:15pm

Session 2: 13-14 swimmers
Check-in 1pm; racing 2:15pm; exit by 4pm

SUNDAY, MAY 30
Session 3: 11-12 swimmers
Check-in 10:45am; racing 11:30am; exit by 1:15pm

Session 4: 15 & over swimmers
Check-in 1pm; racing 2:15pm; exit by 4pm
Updates: CPAC May Invitational
Who: Sectionals qualifiers
When: May 13-16
Where: Chelsea Piers, CT (1 Blachley Rd., Stamford, CT)

Session Times:
Flights will be assigned by the host team by May 1.
  • Prelims flight A - call time 7:15am
  • Prelims flight B - call time 10:15am
  • Finals - call time 4:45pm (Thursday 5:15pm)

Uniform:
  • Tech suits are permitted for this meet. Locker rooms are available only for bathroom usage. Swimmers must arrive and leave in the suit they will race in.
  • Thursday: Black AGUA shirt
  • Friday: Grey AGUA shirt
  • Saturday: Green AGUA shirt
  • Sunday: AGUA gold medal shirt

Please note: CPAC is not allowing spectators into the meet at this time. The event will be webcast online, details to come.
Action Required:
Declare Your Intent for the 2021-2022 Season
As we move plan the 2021-2022 season, please let us know if your swimmer(s) intend to return to AGUA in the fall. 

We ask that all athletes declare their intent by Friday, May 7. The 2021-2022 season will start on Monday, September 13, 2021 and will run through August of 2022. Information on schedules, group placements, and competitions will be shared as soon as they are available.
Summer Schedules Now Available
The spring practice schedule will run through June 27. Beginning June 28, all groups will switch to the summer practice schedule, available here.

Coming This Week: AGUA Gold Medal Shirts
Be on the lookout this week for our new gold medal t-shirts!

Shirts will be distributed by lead group coaches over the course of the week. We will showcase our new uniform at the Memorial Day weekend time trial!
Save the Date: 2021 College Recruiting Seminar
Join us for our 2021 virtual college recruiting seminar on May 22, 2021 at 11:30am. AGUA athletes who are current freshmen, sophomores, or juniors are encouraged to attend. This meeting is for athletes only; details about our parent recruiting seminar to come.
