Great Work at the 14-and-under Championship!

Congratulations to all who participated in the 2023 Metropolitan Swimming 14-and-under Age Group Championships! The AGUA Swim Team came home with combined team runner-up honors and 13 relay medals across all three age groups.

The team also raced to eight new program records. Congratulations to Sebastian Colvin (200 medley relay), Bruce Qian (50 and 200 butterfly; 50 backstroke; 100 freestyle; 100 and 200 IM; 200 medley relay), George Wang (400 IM; 200 medley relay) and Leo Yang (200 medley relay) on their new records!

Additional congratulations to Bruce for earning high point honors in the 11- to 12-year-old boys' category. He scored nationwide top times so far this season for the 50 butterfly (fourth) and the 50 backstroke (sixth).

Help Out at Asphalt Green's Big Swim Event!

Sign up is now available for 12-and-over athletes looking to volunteer at Big Swim in Asphalt Green's 2023 Big Week celebration!

Young swimmers will enjoy the thrill of a 25-yard race, complete with starting blocks and a timed finish. The event will take place in the AquaCenter at Asphalt Green’s Upper East Side campus.

AGUA swimmers will be assigned to help with timing, heat organization, and cheering on the swimmers. With your help, we can create a safe and rewarding experience for our community!

Asphalt Green ID Cards

All swimmers must use their ID cards to access Asphalt Green's Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses at each practice. Swimmers will not be permitted to enter the facilities without swiping in with their ID.
