AGUA Earns Third-Place Finishes at Eastern Zone Age Group Championships
Congratulations to our swimmers who raced last week at the 2022 Short Course Eastern Zone Age Group Championships in Webster, NY. AGUA took home three overall team awards:

  • Girls team score: Third place
  • Boys team score: Third place
  • Combined team score: Third place

AGUA was led by stellar relay performances, including four top-three finishes:

  • Silver medal: Girls 13-14 200 medley relay – Maddie Lent, Nia Zagar, Tessa Feld, and Gillian Asch
  • Silver medal: Girls 13-14 400 medley relay – Maddie Lent, Nia Zagar, Liv Olsen, and Catherine MacLennan
  • Bronze medal: Boys 13-14 200 medley relay – Oliver Shao, Beau Chan, Rohan Mehra, and Zander Auth
  • Bronze medal: Boys 13-14 400 medley relay – Oliver Shao, Beau Chan, Julien Shao, and Zander Auth

AGUA also brought home 17 individual medals courtesy of Zander Auth, Tessa Feld, Eva Johnson, Bruce Qian, Oliver Shao, and Nia Zagar.

The AGUA coaches would like to congratulate Bruce Qian and Oliver Shao for outstanding swims. Bruce raced to the seventh-fastest time in the country in the 100 butterfly. Oliver established a new AGUA team record in the 13-14 boys 1650 freestyle and earned the overall high point award.

The coaches would also like to thank Maddie Lent, Tim Seliger, Julien Shao, and Allegra Speight-Ray for standing out as RAD teammates.

AGUA Summer Swim Clinics
Registration is now available for AGUA summer swim clinics. Refine your skills and gain a competitive edge in the water. All activities, including dryland training and nutritional awareness, are designed for swimmers' specific needs.

Friday, April 15
