Great Work at Time Trial #4
Congratulations to all on another great weekend of racing. We are proud of how our swimmers competed and supported each other throughout the event. Many athletes earned new qualifications for our upcoming championship time trial! Be sure to follow @aguaswim on Instagram to meet our first-time Metropolitan Swimming Junior Olympic and Age Group Team Challenge qualifiers.

The AGUA coaching staff extends special congratulations to Mayrah Johnson on breaking AGUA team records in the 8 and under 50 and 100 backstroke events. Mayrah's 100 backstroke bested the previous mark set in 2003 by United States Olympic medalist Lia Neal!

We would also like to thank our officials, volunteer timers, and AGUA families for your dedication to providing quality racing experiences for our athletes during these unprecedented times.

AGUA Championship Time Trial Updates
The championship time trial for the 2020-2021 season will be held March 19-21 at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.

Preliminary meet entries will be emailed to participating families this week. Heat sheet links will be included in the Tuesday, March 16 newsletter. If your swimmer is available to volunteer as a timer, please sign up here! We need eight timers for each session.

12 and Under Girls
  • Check-in 3:45pm; racing 4:30pm

12 and Under Boys
  • Check-in 5:15pm; racing 6pm

All Senior Athletes
  • Check-in 5:45pm; racing 7pm

MARCH COCKTAILS WITH COACHES
March 25

AGUA SPRING BREAK
March 27-April 6
  • Practices for all groups will resume on Wednesday, April 7.
  • All swimmers must submit a negative (rapid or PCR) COVID-19 test to their lead group coach before returning to practice. Tests must be dated April 3, 2021 or later.

AGUA SWIM CAMPS
Week 1: June 28-July 2
  • Swimmers ages 8 to 11
Week 2: July 5-9
  • Swimmers ages 10 to 13
