Effective January 29, 2022, all visitors ages 5 and over will be required to show proof of full vaccination.

Acceptable forms of proof include a vaccine card, a photo of the vaccine card, Excelsior, or NYC COVID Safe apps.

We ask that all families review our procedures for COVID-19 cases: 

  • Swimmers with COVID-19 symptoms should monitor symptoms and should not attend practice.
  • Swimmers who test positive for COVID-19 must email [email protected] to report the date of positive test and date that any symptoms started. Please copy your lead group coach on this email.
  • Swimmers whose household or family member(s) test positive for COVID-19 must email [email protected] for further instructions. Please copy your lead group coach on this email.

Get Involved: Become an Official
AGUA is in need of stroke and turn judges. Being an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and the sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and gain a greater understanding of how meets work.

Sign up is now available for Metro Swimming's New Officials Clinics on Feb. 9, 2022.
Long Course Season Updates
Please see below for updates on the 2022 long course racing season:

  • Group placements - Long course season group placements will be announced the week of February 21. Please note, this may result in practice schedule changes for swimmers who are turning 11, 13, or 15 before June 1. 
  • AGUA spring break - There will be no AGUA practices April 2 through April 10. Group placements will begin on Monday, April 11 under the spring schedule. All swimmers will remain in their current groups through April 1.

  • Masks are always required outside of the pool. This includes the pool deck, locker rooms, lobby, and all shared spaces.
  • Swimmers who enter the pool deck without a mask on will not be permitted to practice.

WINTER COCKTAILS WITH COACHES
Join us for our next virtual parent event tomorrow, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 7pm. Coaches will provide team updates followed by a Q&A session.
COLLEGE RECRUITING SEMINAR
Swimmers and families from Senior Prep, Senior I, Senior II, and National are invited to join us for a college recruiting seminar on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1pm. The event will occur over Zoom.
Action Required: USA Swimming Safe Sport Training
USA Swimming requires minor athletes and parents to watch free Safe Sport training videos on the USA Swimming website. All AGUA swimmers 12 to 17 years old and their parents must watch these videos in order for the team to reapply for Safe Sport recognition for the next two years.

Please make sure to log in to your USA Swimming LEARN account using your swimmer’s first name, last name, and date of birth so that USA Swimming can assign credit to your account for AGUA. You can access your account here.
Team Suits and Practice Equipment
Ultimate Swim Shop, our team store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, create an account by clicking Log in To/Create Your Account. Input your information, select Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics as your team, and click Submit.

AGUA's TYR tech suit discount website is available here (password: AGUAXTYR). Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.

  • UES AG2 Green will swim from 8am to 9am at Sacred Heart. Dryland will be from 9:15am to 9:45am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side Campus.
  • Senior II and National will swim from 7:30am to 9:30am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
  • Senior II dryland will be from 10am to 10:45am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side Campus.
