Effective January 29, all program participants ages 5 and over will be required to show proof of full vaccination.
We ask that all families review our procedures for COVID-19 cases:

Swimmers with COVID-19 symptoms should monitor symptoms and should not attend practice.

Swimmers who test positive for COVID-19 must email [email protected] to report the date of positive test and date that any symptoms started. Please copy your lead group coach on this email.

Swimmers whose household or family member(s) test positive for COVID-19 must email [email protected] for further instructions. Please copy your lead group coach on this email.

AGUA MLK INVITATIONAL

When: January 15 to January 17, 2022

Where: Asphalt Green, Upper East Side campus

Who: All swimmers

Preliminary entries are now available. Please notify your lead group coach of any errors by Thursday, January 6 at 8pm.
Swimmer call times:
AGUA swimmers will check in with their Asphalt Green ID at the front entrance.
- Saturday, Sunday, and Monday ages 6 to 12: 7:30am
- Saturday and Monday distance: 12:45pm
- Saturday and Monday ages 13 and over: 2:30pm
- Sunday ages 13 and over: 12:45pm
Uniform requirements:
- Saturday: black AGUA shirt
- Sunday: gray AGUA shirt
- Monday: green AGUA shirt
Spectators:
Spectators are not permitted at the meet. All sessions will be available for viewing on Asphalt Green's YouTube channel.
Family Service:
As a reminder, AGUA families are required to complete 10 service hours between October 2021 and July 2022. Each uncompleted hour will result in a $35 fee at the end of the season.

Get Involved: Become an Official |
AGUA is in need of stroke and turn judges. Being an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and the sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and gain a greater understanding of how meets work.
Sign up is now available for Metro Swimming's New Officials Clinics on Jan. 12, 2022 or Feb. 9, 2022.

Masks at Asphalt Green

Masks are always required outside of the pool. This includes the pool deck, locker rooms, lobby, and all shared spaces.
- Swimmers who enter the pool deck without a mask on will not be permitted to practice.

COLLEGE RECRUITING SEMINAR
Swimmers and families from Senior Prep, Senior I, Senior II, and National are invited to join us for a college recruiting seminar on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1pm. The event will occur over Zoom.

Team Suits and Practice Equipment |
Ultimate Swim Shop, our team store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, you will have to create an account and select “Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics” as your team. To create an account, click on “Register” (right side of page), input your information, select our team, and click “Submit”.
AGUA's TYR tech suit discount website is available here (password: AGUAXTYR). Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.
