Great Work at the NCAP Invitational!

Congratulations to our athletes who raced at the NCAP Winter Invitational at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD! AGUA swimmers raced to countless highlights, championship qualifications, and more.

Milly Birch, Bruce Qian, and Chloe Yang led the way by posting nation-leading times. For 11-year-old girls, Chloe ranks seventh in the 200 butterfly, while Milly ranks fourth. Milly also ranks in the 50 and 100 butterfly (fourth), the 100 backstroke (seventh), the 200 backstroke (third), the 100 IM (seventh), and the 200 IM (sixth).

Bruce now ranks fifth in the 50 butterfly, sixth in the 50 backstroke, and eighth in the 100 butterfly for 12-year-old boys nationwide. His efforts in the 50 backstroke, the 100 butterfly, and the 100 IM also set three new AGUA team records. Bruce was joined by Sebastian Colvin, George Wang, and Jack Wiggins to take gold and set a new AGUA team record in the 11- and 12-year-olds 200 medley relay.

Two more team records were broken courtesy of Aidan Zhu, Elonu Rodrigues, Ryan Choi, and Ethan Pak in the 13- to 14-year-old 200 free and 400 medley relays.

Ryan was victorious in the 100 and 200 backstroke and was joined by Bruce (50 and 100 butterfly, 50 and 100 backstroke, 50 and 100 freestyle, 100 IM), George (200 butterfly and 400 IM) and Mayrah Johnson (50 butterfly) as individual gold medalists.

• Tuesday, January 24, 2023: Fall Cocktails with Coaches.
• Tuesday, February 7, 2023: Nutrition Talk with Beine Wellness for Senior Prep, Senior I, Senior II, and National.
• Monday, February 20 – Friday, February 24, 2023: Long course season group placements announced. If your swimmer turns 11, 13, or 15 by May 31, 2023, they will likely be placed into a new group for the long course season.
• Monday, February 27, 2023: Spring Schedule Begins (swimmers will remain in current groups until April 10, 2023.)
• Tuesday, February 28, 2023: Nutrition Talk with Beine Wellness for AG1, AG2, and AG3.
• Monday, April 3 – Sunday, April 9, 2023: AGUA team spring break. All practices are canceled.
• Monday, April 10, 2023: Long course group placements begin.
