AGUA Season Starter
  • When: October 9, 2021 to October 10, 2021
  • Where: Asphalt Green, Upper East Side
  • Who: All practice groups

Preliminary entries will be available online tomorrow at 9am. Please notify your lead coach of any errors by Friday, October 1 at 12pm.
 
Swimmer call times:
AGUA swimmers will check in with their Asphalt Green ID at the front entrance.
  • Saturday Session 1 (ages 9 to 12): 7:30am
  • Saturday Session 2 (ages 13 and over): 12:45pm
  • Sunday Session 3 (ages 9 to 12): 7:30am
  • Sunday Session 4 (400 IM): 12:45pm
  • Sunday Session 5 (ages 6 to 8): 2pm

Uniform requirements:
  • Saturday: gray AGUA shirt
  • Sunday: green AGUA shirt
  • 14 and under swimmers are permitted to wear AGUA team suits only. Swimmers aged 15 and up are permitted to wear AGUA team suits or solid-colored, non-technical TYR suit

Team shirts will be distributed this week.

Family service:
  • As a reminder, AGUA families are required to complete 10 service hours between October 2021 and July 2022. Each uncompleted hour will result in a $35 fee at the end of the season. Sign up now online.

Team Suits and Practice Equipment
Ultimate Swim Shop, our Team Store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, you will have to create an account and select “Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics” as your team. To create an account, click on “Register” (right side of page), input your information, select our team, and click “Submit”.

TYR Tech Suit Discounts

AGUA's TYR Tech Suit discount website is available here (PW:AGUAXTYR).
Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.
Parent/Coach Communication 
In order to streamline parent/coach communication, please do not reply to the newsletter. Use the following email addresses for all questions:
Upcoming Schedule Changes
Saturday, October 2
  • Senior I and Senior II boys will swim from 7am to 9am at Sacred Heart.
  • Senior I and Senior II girls will swim from 9am to 11am at Sacred Heart.
  • Senior I and Senior II dryland is canceled.

Saturday, October 9
  • National will swim 6am to 8am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
  • All other practices canceled.

Sunday, October 10
  • National will swim 6am to 8am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
  • All other practices canceled.

Monday, October 11
  • BPC and UES AG1, AG2 (Green & Gold), and AG3 (Green & Gold) practices are canceled.
  • Senior Prep Green and Gold will swim 5pm to 6:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
  • Senior I, Senior II, and National will practice as regularly scheduled.
REMINDER: Masks are required for all visitors in all common areas at Asphalt Green, including lobbies, stairways, elevators, and locker rooms. Thank you for your cooperation.
