U.S. Olympic Trials Results and Updates |
Congratulations to Helen Wojdylo and Sophia Zhang for racing the 100 Breaststroke at the U.S. Olympic Trials Wave I this week in Omaha, NE!
Helen swam to a first-place finish in heat one while Sophia took fourth in heat six to qualify as an alternate for the finals.
Isabel Gormley, Dylan Porges, and Dylan Rhee will kick off Wave II this Sunday, June 13. Learn more about the athletes, get race results, and view the Olympic Trials event schedule here. Racing times will be distributed once available.

Welcome, Coach Maggie Tracy! |
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new coach, Maggie Tracy! Maggie will be assisting all of our age group practice groups throughout the summer.
Growing up in Westchester, Maggie swam for both Gael Aquatics and Badger Swim Club. She helped lead The Ursuline School to five Section 1 Championships and a five-year undefeated streak. She was an All-American and ranked third in the State of New York in the 50 freestyle.
She went on to swim for four years at the University of Delaware where she graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in journalism. During her collegiate career, Maggie specialized in sprint freestyle, setting school records in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
Maggie began her coaching career in college and went on to become the assistant at Gael Aquatics in New Rochelle, NY. Since 2020, she has been coaching and working in aquatics at Convent of the Sacred Heart school.
Maggie's philosophy is to first and foremost enjoy the sport of swimming and what it has to offer. She believes that being a part of a positive and supportive team is highly beneficial for a child's personal growth and development.

Swim for the Future Applications Now Open |
Swim for the Future Scholarship applications for the 2021-2022 season are now open. The submission deadline for both new and returning applicants is July 15, 2021.
Once you are logged in, click the purple box labeled “Financial Aid Assessment” to begin your application using the following credentials:

Update: Practice Gear and AGUA T-Shirts |
As we move into long course season and beyond, we are excited to announce the following updates:
- AGUA t-shirts: Please update your swimmer's t-shirt size in TeamUnify by Monday, June 14. We will be using these sizes when ordering team shirts for the fall.
- Practice equipment: We will begin implementing gear during age group practices on Monday, June 14. Swimmers will not be able to leave gear at Asphalt Green until further notice. Please be sure your swimmer is prepared with the equipment listed below:
- AG4 - snorkel and pull buoy
- UES and BPC AG1, AG2, and AG3 - fins

- UES AG2 Green will swim from 4pm to 5pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
- Senior I will swim from 5pm to 6:30pm. Dryland from 4:15pm to 4:45pm.
