Please be sure to review the below updates. Due to the spread of the Omicron variant in New York City, AGUA has instituted the following changes, effective as of yesterday, Monday, December 20, 2021:

MASKS AT ASPHALT GREEN
  • Masks are always required outside of the pool. This includes the pool deck, locker rooms, lobby, and all shared spaces.
  • Swimmers who enter the pool deck without a mask on will not be permitted to practice.

HOLIDAY GATHERINGS
  • Group holiday events that were scheduled for December 20 through December 22 may be subject to change. Please be on the lookout for updates from your group parents.

HOLIDAY BREAK
  • As a reminder, there are no AGUA practices from December 23 through December 26.
  • Swimmers ages 5 to 11 who are not fully vaccinated must submit a negative COVID-19 test before returning to practice on December 27. Swimmers are considered fully vaccinated if they received their second dose on or before December 13. 
  • Negative tests must be dated December 26 or later and should be submitted to [email protected].
Great Work CPAC Invitational Swimmers
Great job to our athletes who raced at the CPAC December Invitational this weekend in Connecticut. AGUA swimmers raced to success including setting team records, new championship cuts, and personal best times. Be on the lookout next week for a full meet recap!

Swimmers and families from Senior Prep, Senior I, Senior II, and National are invited to join us for a college recruiting seminar on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1pm. The event will occur over Zoom.
Get Involved: Become an Official
AGUA is in need of stroke and turn judges. Being an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and the sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and gain a greater understanding of how meets work. You can take pride in getting involved, and you will be helping the sport improve.

Team Suits and Practice Equipment
Ultimate Swim Shop, our team store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, you will have to create an account and select “Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics” as your team. To create an account, click on “Register” (right side of page), input your information, select our team, and click “Submit”.

AGUA's TYR tech suit discount website is available here (password: AGUAXTYR). Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.
