3% Convenience Fee to be Added to AHA Credit Card Payments
Effective June 1, 2019, a 3% Convenience Fee will be added by AHA to payments made by Credit Card. The Convenience Fee charge does not apply if the customer submits payment by cash, check or money order.
The 3% convenience fee for credit card transactions was voted on and approved by the AHA Board of Directors on March 8, 2019, as part of the budget planning for Fiscal Year 2020. A steady growth in credit card processing fees has occurred over the past 10 years and has elevated to a point of significant impact on AHA’s budget in an amount exceeding $250,000 per year. The 3% convenience fee will cover the cost of rising credit card fees that is applied by the vendor who processes credit card payments for AHA.
A 3% convenience fee will not be applied to payments made by cash, check or money order for AHA business transactions.

Last Chance Buy-In for Sweepstakes
Enrollment is available until October 15, 2019 for the Last Chance Buy-In for Sweepstakes. This program is for any horse(s) that were not entered into the Sweepstakes Program.
This one-time nomination makes your horse eligible to compete at the 18 Regional Championship Shows, Canadian Nationals, Sport Horse Nationals and U.S. Nationals in Sweepstakes-designated classes and Jackpot classes (qualifications may be required in some classes). The only classes not eligible to the Original Entry category are the Sweepstakes Yearling Halter classes which are reserved for Breeding Entries only.
The Original Entry category is open to any horse that is registered with the Arabian Horse Association or the Canadian Registries. Your horse does not have to be by a Sweepstakes Nominated Sire or out of a Sweepstakes Nominated Dam to enroll.
This is your last chance to buy-in to the Sweepstakes Program for those not previously enrolled!
IMPORTANT: Cutting Horse Performance Futurity Enrollment Fee Change
The enrollment fee for the Arabian and Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian Cutting Horse Futurity has been reduced from $1,040 to $740 if paid by June 1 in full (or by June 1, July 1 and August 1 if enrollment is being made with payments). Late fees may apply.
A horse that is co-owned by the two distinct non-family members cannot be shown in Maturity and Jackpot classes at any AHA National Championship Show.
Upcoming Performance Futurity/Maturity Deadline
The enrollment deadline for the first payment (or payment in full) for the U.S. Performance Futurity/Maturity is June 1, 2019.

If you choose the payment option, the second payment must be submitted on or before July 1, 2019 and the third payment must be submitted on or before August 1, 2019 (postmarked/electronic transaction dated to the AHA office). Payments postmarked/electronic transaction dated after the first of each month will be assessed late fees.
All Performance Futurity/Maturity horses must be enrolled and total fees paid no later than the close of entries of the U.S. National Championship Horse Show.
Nominations submitted after the original close of entries for U.S. Nationals will be assessed an additional $750 late fee or an additional $1,000 late fee for Reining.
