It was wonderful to meet so many of you during AHIA's 41st Annual Conference. With this being the first in-person conference since 2019, I am pleased to report that 436 attendees were present in Miami. We heard three exceptional keynote presentations from Daron Roberts, Bret Hood, and Felisha Heimer. Annual Business Meeting
The AHIA Board of Directors provided many updates regarding committee efforts and strategic initiatives for the coming year during the Annual Business Meeting. The slides from that session are available here for those of you who may have missed this session.
CPE Certificates
CPE certificates will be available in the next couple of weeks. When they're available, conference attendees will expect to receive an email from AHIA with instructions on how to access the certificate. Please anticipate this communication to arrive before the end of September.
Marketing Contest

AHIA will be hosting a 2-Day Virtual Conference from November 16-17. This event will feature our top presentations from the Miami conference, including with one of our keynote presenters, Daron Roberts. If you were not able to attend the event in Miami this year, this virtual event will offer 10 affordable CPE credit opportunities for you. Top Risks 2023 (ERM) Survey |

AHIA is asking our CAE members to consider completing the top risks survey below and sending it to their executive teams and Audit and Compliance Committee members so we can all benefit from the results. The more healthcare responses to the survey that Protiviti and NC State receive, the better information they will have to share with our AHIA members in future education sessions (a healthcare industry paper and corresponding slides). Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and distribute the survey below to your executive team so they can help identify the top risks likely to affect the healthcare industry in 2023 and beyond.
