AHI and ACO Partners – From the Desk of Karen Ashline, CEO

I am sharing news about our AHI/ACO Leadership team. Katy Margison has made the difficult decision to leave her part time role with AHI and the ACO to focus full time on her personal coaching business. Katy’s last day with AHI will be Wednesday, 12/24/2025.

Katy first joined AHI in November 2016 and as many of you know, she has held several roles with AHI. She led AHI’s efforts in the region to ensure that telehealth was an option for all – despite the many challenges we faced in our rural region. Her work with local stakeholders provided the guidance to ensure these challenges were addressed and access was enhanced.

In 2021, Katy started her current role as Director of Partner Engagement, which initially, was primarily focused on the Adirondacks ACO Partner Organizations. She led the work that helped to establish our annual citizenship criteria and guide relationships with our many CBO partners – supporting our value-based payment programs and initiatives.

Katy transitioned to part time in 2023, and in 2024 she began leading and guiding the communication needs for both the ACO and AHI. This work has pivoted our organization to the forefront with a stronger presence, sharing our many initiatives and accomplishments in the region with true commitment and dedication.

If you know her well, she is very much a “go to” person when there are projects to complete. We very much value and appreciate the contributions Katy has made to support our mission in the North Country.

Please join me in wishing her the best as she continues to have an impact on the lives of the people in our region.

Gaps in Care Report Refreshed

On December 15th, the ACO’s Gaps in Care Report on the AHI Reporting Portal was updated to reflect the most recently available health plan quality gaps information.  In addition, we have added the attributed provider to the report, as well as each patient’s health plan. Note that the attributed provider information is currently limited due to some matching issues.

Our next update will be in early January with the goal of supporting 2025 supplemental data submissions in Q1 2026. Please reach out to Laura Morris (lmorris@ahihealth.org) with any questions about the report.

If you need access to the AHI Reporting Portal, please contact Melissa Joyce (mjoyce@ahihealth.org).

A new edition of the Moreau Community Center newsletter is available.
