What to Expect at Alumnae Reunion Weekend | | |
Dear Alumnae,
Our Alumnae Reunion Weekend has sessions scheduled throughout the day on Friday, October 3 including Legacy Family Gathering, Alumnae Entrepreneur and Family-Owned Business Networking, Share your AHN memories in our PantherVision Studio, tours of the school during the day with Enrollment and Admissions, and ending the day with a Social Hour at the Arts Center.
There are morning sessions for you to choose from on Saturday, October 4, including guided trail walks, workout sessions, pickleball, and floral design. If you can't join us in the morning, please consider cheering on our alumnae at our Rally Around The Bell Tower, or attending our All-Alumnae Ceremony and Mother Marie-Rose Reception.
If you prefer spending time with your family and can only be on campus for Sunday, October 5, join us for our Fall Family Fun Day! This weekend is designed for our alumnae, including milestone years, to choose how they want to participate.
God bless,
Katie Ann McDermott '98

Our family shares a proud legacy at Academy of the Holy Names, where my sister, Ayana Mendoza '98, and I were shaped by its strong tradition of academic excellence, faith, and sisterhood. After graduating from AHN, I earned a Bachelor of Science from The College of Saint Rose and a Master of Science from SUNY Albany, while Ayana earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from SUNY Albany. The values instilled in us at AHN continue to guide our lives. Today, I serve as a social worker in local government in North Carolina, and Ayana works for the federal government in Northern Virginia.
