I am thrilled to reveal our Alumnae Reunion Weekend Events in this issue. All alumnae are welcome and will be celebrated, from your first to your seventy-first anniversary, there is something for everyone.
On Friday, October 3, there will be a series of networking and gathering events scheduled in our library with tours of our school, ending with a social hour and performance in our Arts Center.
Choose from a number of morning activities scheduled for Saturday, October 4 before you join us for our Rally around the Bell Tower. This is a perfect time to take that AHN gear out of the box you've held onto and gather with your classmates as we show our alumnae pride for the school we hold so dear!
Our Alumnae Ceremony in the Riley Auditorium will reflect on so much of our shared history, from classmates and faculty who recently passed, celebrating the various milestone classes present, recognizing our legacy families and faculty, inducting our twenty fifth and fiftieth year classes into the Circle of Silver and Gold, and celebrating our platinum jubilee seventieth year class reunion members.
Our Mother Marie Rose Reception is generously sponsored by 2Shea Catering and
Albany Distilling Company, Inc. and there will be several awards given to alumnae that day!
More to come on this in our next issue.
On Sunday, October 5, bring your whole family to our Fall Family Fun Day. I am certain you will find it reminiscent of our Fall Family Festivals and Boutique Noëls we fondly remember! Thank you DJ Ritz, for sponsoring our entertainment for the day.
Take a look at the link below, gather your classmates and register for more than one of the events planned for you. Alumnae- or family-owned businesses can also use the same link to register to be a part of our weekend.
It's a celebration of our more than one hundred forty years together and we are still the number one reason why our students enjoy being a part of this special AHN family! We are their parents and legacy members, benefactors, partners in education, patrons of the arts, sciences and sports, mentors, coaches, and teachers. Let's celebrate together. You are the reason why we are still Academy of the Holy Names in Albany, New York!
God bless,
