On April 30 th , AHNA held its first annual Community Partners Appreciation Breakfast. This event is AHNA's official kick-off to our fund development campaign for 2019. The breakfast was sponsored by Wheeler Clinic.  About 30 of our partners attended our Tuesday morning "Thank You." AHNA's work in Asylum Hill is only possible because of the generous volunteer and financial support of our partners.

Volunteer Of The Month - Rev. Mia Douglas

Reverend Mia came to Asylum Hill Congregational Church on April 7, 2015 to begin her work as Director of Discipleship. It was the merging of the Director of Outreach and Director of Member Engagement positions. For Rev. Mia this means that she is a connector.

Health Screening Camp At Grace

On the last Saturday of April, a group of volunteers from the Greater Hartford Sathya Sai Center came to Grace Lutheran Church for a free health screening for the neighborhood and beyond. This was especially significant because they partnered with Wheeler Clinic across the street.
