Announcing a Change of Ownership!
Air Hydro Power (AHP) is very proud to announce that as of January 6, 2023, AHP has become part of Houchens Industries, Inc., one of the largest and most diversified ESOP’s in the USA.

AHP has grown because of great customers who put their trust in us, and our dedicated employees who built that trust by taking care of our customers. It is only fitting that these employees now have the opportunity to become employee owners and participate in the Houchens ESOP. This is the absolute best long term decision to let this company thrive in the future!
 
Air Hydro Power, the robust manufacturers we represent and the individuals you have grown to trust, are remaining the same. We will continue to be here to support our great customers! This is truly exciting times for AHP and the new employee owners!

Below is an internal notification sent to all AHP employees last week.  It does a great job explaining what is going on!

TEAM AHP
A very historic day this morning at AHP. Today, 100% of the company has been purchased by Houchens Industries and we have become an employee owned company under the Houchens umbrella. Today you have the opportunity to become employee owners and your future is extremely bright. In the coming weeks Houchens folks will be explaining in great detail to all of you what it means to be an employee owner and how it impacts you. This has always been the dream of the MOB to transition the company to our employees and that dream was fulfilled today. 

While it is an end of an era for the MOB, it is a new beginning for our employees. You have built this company into one of the most successful industrial distributors in the country and we are the envy of many. It is extremely important to the MOB for the Legacy of AHP to continue and further build a powerhouse in our industry under the Houchens umbrella.

While Dick has become a consultant to the company, we will continue to see his smiling face on occasion, and he will continue to work with one of our largest customers. Tom and Matt will continue on with the company with the focus of continuing to build the AHP brand as well as mentor the leadership team to get the company to the next level.

The last 3 years have been difficult on all of us with all of the supply change issues as well as the worldwide pandemic. The world has changed, and change is hard but this transition of our company is the best thing that could have happened.
