Dear Friends of AHP,
We are excited to inform you about this free virtual talk July 14th on the founding of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA). We trust you will find it to be both educational and inspirational. Among those who will be conversing not only about the beginnings of AHPA, but also the challenges and successes of the herbal industry, are Mark Blumenthal, Founder & Executive Director of the American Botanical Council (ABC), Loren Israelsen, Founder & President of the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA), and Graham Rigby, current AHPA President & CEO. As they share memories, this is an especially poignant time for this discussion as Loren has recently announced his retirement and the end of UNPA as we know it.
We also take a special moment to remember Michael McGuffin and AHP Founder and President, Roy Upton, and the significant role both played in the evolution and passage of DSHEA.
