Hello Sophomore Families,

It is time for the 10th grade humanities exhibition--Rising Voices: Adolescent Psychology and Storytelling! Adolescence is all about finding your voice, finding who you are and who you want to become. The sophomores have spent the first semester learning about what adolescence is, what cognitive development includes, and the role of morality in this important stage of life. Our goal was to understand why adolescence is such a critical stage of development and what the work of adolescence includes.

If the goal of adolescence is to learn how to be adults, it is just as important to find your voice in society and this is why we wrote stories. Analyzing why stories matter and ultimately writing our helped us better understand and become assimilated into society. Please join us to hear our stories, to have conversations about adolescence, and ultimately to find a shared humanity and experience through storytelling.

When - Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 5-7pm

Where - Animas High School (for our last exhibition at our old school!)
