April 1, 2020
Dear Osprey Families,

First, a quick correction--the Online Osprey Parent Coffee will begin at 8:30 Friday morning (not 8:15). Join the Zoom meeting by creating a free account at zoom.us and clicking this link . Promise, this is not an April Fool's Day joke, and apologies for the confusion!

The yearbook staff has made some changes to the production schedule for this year's book that we'd like to share with you all. A yearbook is so much more than a fancy photo album--its primary purpose is to serve as a time capsule, capturing a year in the life of our Ospreys. In a normal year, we would cover the usual events, highlight any unique occurrences in a feature spread and have the entire book submitted to press by April 3. That being said, this year is turning out to be anything but normal. Given the circumstances, the yearbook team has decided to push their final deadline to June so they can cover as much of this uncharted territory as possible.

Seeking Yearbook Photos from Ospreys at Home during School Closure
We're calling on you, parents and students, to help us capture this brave new world we find ourselves in. Please take a moment to snap a photo or two when your student is working on school work or participating in any activity or situation unique to this Shelter-in-Place time (i.e. family game night, picking up food from a mostly closed restaurant, walking down empty grocery aisles, family hikes, etc.). Please email those full resolution photos to  [email protected] .

Senior Photo Deadline Now June 1
Seniors--please send up to three photos of yourself to [email protected] by June 1. Indicate which photo you'd like to have featured on your yearbook senior page and in the Senior Celebration Booklet. We are also delaying production of the Senior Celebration Booklet, and the deadline for seniors to submit information will be pushed back. We'll contact seniors with more details soon.

Senior Dedication Ads Deadline Now June 1
Senior parents and friends of seniors--if you have not yet purchased a Senior Dedication Ad, that deadline has also been pushed to June 1. Email any photos and text copy along with the size you'd like to [email protected] . You'll be able to pay for your ad via Infinite Campus. Costs are $300 for full-page, $150 for half-page, $75 for quarter-page and $25 for eighth-page.

Deadline to Order Yearbooks Now August 1
Go to  jostensyearbooks.com  to purchase your yearbook for $35. Be sure to check out all the extras, such as personalization, printed icons, autograph pages and more!

Yearbook Signing Party in August
We should receive yearbooks around August 10 and the yearbook staff plans to host a signing party for students when they arrive. Returning students unable to pick up their yearbooks at the signing party will receive theirs at the start of the 2020-21 school year. Seniors who have moved away will have theirs shipped to their address of record.

We certainly appreciate our resilient, creative yearbook staff, guided by Osprey parent Acasha Mick, for all their hard work and flexibility in this unique situation!
