Held back by high interest rates and cautious spending, growth in industrial and manufacturing sectors continues to be positive but modest. Manufacturing output and capital goods orders are slightly up, with defense, high‑tech, and re-shoring showing the strongest opportunities. The indecision in the Purchasing Managers Index supports a continuation of a negative growth outlook continuing in the first half of the year, with a rebound forecast in Q3.
