ITR October Report - Tighter Margins for 2026

Growth of US Manufacturing in total is accelerating, though at a slower rate, and businesses are seeing higher costs for materials and labor. Inflation and interest rates are staying high, so companies need to focus on being more efficient and keeping their profits up. Even with the government shutdown and some uncertainty, the overall economy is expected to continue in slow-growth mode. Companies should watch out for tighter margins and plan carefully for 2026.
