AHTD Women in Automation: April Inspiration
"Schneider Electric had a webinar with Sally Helgesen for Int’l Women’s Day. I had never heard of her, but she co-wrote a book called “How Women Rise”. I found the webinar interesting...and I found this article that is an abridged outline of the 12 habits she talks about in her book.

She talks a bit about the differences between male and female leaders and things women do naturally that make them good leaders. Also, she talks about how “what got you here, won’t get you there”. Ex. many of us have been trained to be detailed, organized, precise and while those are wonderful traits that are very important, in a higher leadership role, corporations are typically looking for the visionary/the big idea person. So, although those skills are wonderful and may have “gotten you here”, they may not be the skills that “gets you there”.
