As I step into the role of President, I want to begin by expressing sincere gratitude to Bryan Greene, our Board, committee leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and chapter staff whose efforts made this past year successful. Bryan leaves our chapter strong, energized, and well-positioned for the future, and I am truly grateful for his leadership and friendship.
2025 reminded us just how active our chapter can be, from the inspiring Focus on Design Awards program, to engaging hard hat tours, to the connections built at events like Topgolf. Our presence at national and state AIA gatherings reinforced that AIA Dayton is not only active locally, but influential across Ohio and beyond.
As we look to the year ahead, my goal is to build on this momentum. We will continue to elevate design excellence, expand meaningful professional development and mentorship opportunities, and strengthen our outreach to students, emerging professionals, and the broader community. Just as importantly, we will keep focusing on connection; bringing firms, generations, and disciplines together in ways that foster collaboration, conversation, and shared purpose.
None of this happens without you. Your engagement by attending events, volunteering your time, mentoring the next generation, or simply staying connected gives this chapter its heart and its impact. I am excited to work alongside you, listen to your perspectives, and continue advancing the work that makes AIA Dayton such a valued professional home.
Thank you for your trust, your commitment, and your passion for our profession. I look forward to a great year ahead!
