John Tatone (35) – Manager, Woodard Development
What are some of your hobbies?
“Hunting - Gathering - Creating intoxicating aromas from the kitchen - Building stuff - Breaking stuff - Experiencing fatherhood to the fullest.”
What is the most fulfilling moment of your career so far?
“Taking risks and enjoying the results. You don't win them all, but you should win most of them if you're doing it right. I joined Woodard Development with zero idea what I would be doing, and I haven't looked back since.”
What drives you to succeed?
“Growth. I never want to find myself as stagnant in private or public life. The drive to succeed is powered by a desire to set and achieve established goals (great or small). That's growth... and it has a ripple effect for those around you.”
First job?
“Cassel Hills Golf Course - Ground Maintenance, baby. That tee box in the back of 17? You're welcome (I'm sorry).”
What's your greatest adventure in life so far?
“Figuring out what's next.”
What's your bucket-list vacation destination and why?
“Japan - Food, Art & Architecture in that order.”
If money didn't matter, or if you won the lottery, what would you do for a living?
“I'd still work for Woodard Development... but we might go global if that happened.”
Tell us something people don't know about you.
“I ‘survived’ Scarlet Fever when I was in High School.”
