2022-23 Candidates for the AIA Dayton Board
The Nominating Committee presents the following slate of candidates to be voted on by the membership at its annual meeting. The slate of candidates:
* President-elect: Rebecca Nikolai, AIA
* Treasurer (2-year term): Erin McNicholl, AIA
* Director (elect two): Mike Duke, AIA; Fernando Oseguero, AIA
* Associate Director (elect two) : Bayleigh Hetrick, Assoc. AIA; Margaret Beecroft, Assoc. AIA
Fulfilling their previously elected 2023 positions:
* President: Alexandra Bohler, AIA
* Past President: Dan Wyckoff, AIA
* Secretary (2nd of 2-year term): Bryan Greene, AIA
*AIA Ohio Director (3rd year of 3-year term): Joe Bissaillon, AIA, replacing Charlie Setterfield, AIA, who resigned to assume AIA Ohio 2023 Secretary position
The election of Officers and Directors will take place November 2 at 5:30 PM. All members are encouraged to attend.
Notice of Proposed Bylaws Change to be voted on at
Annual Membership Meeting
The Board of Directors has approved a proposed bylaws change to clarify accounting procedures. This change will be voted upon during the annual Membership Meeting.
Current:
7.0.3 Review of Financial Records. The Board of Directors shall employ a qualified accounting firm to review the financial records of the Chapter on an annual basis and prepare the Chapter’s tax returns. The review shall be the basis for a written financial report signed by a Certified Public Accountant. The Board of Directors shall provide each member of the Chapter a copy of the Certified Public Accountant’s report on an annual basis within five (5) months of the end of the fiscal year.

7.0.3 Review of Financial Records. The Board of Directors shall employ a qualified accounting firm to review examine the financial records of the Chapter on an annual basis and prepare the Chapter’s tax returns. The review shall be conducted according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for not-for-profit organizations in Ohio and form the basis for an annual written financial report signed by a Certified Public Accountant. The Board of Directors shall provide each member of the Chapter a copy of the Certified Public Accountant’s report on an annual basis within five (5) months of the end of the fiscal year.
