FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4TH (Rain or Shine inside the Brewery)

5:30 - 7:30PM 

Event:

The (4) teams of designers (Brandstetter Carroll Inc. / KY Women in Architecture / UK CoD Architecture Faculty / Bristol Group Inc.) will be given a prompt at the beginning of the competition and have 1-Hour to develop a design, presentation materials (3D or physical models) and a pitch. A guest emcee will be describing all of the action live in front of an audience, who can purchase votes to go towards their favorite design and/or team. All votes will be tallied and a winner announced at the end of the event to win the coveted Golden T-Square! All proceeds will go towards Lexington Habitat for Humanity and AIA EKC. 

This year's even will also coincide with the surrounding NOLI Night Market - a monthly pop-up street festival that helps businesses, artists, and non-profits from the North & East End neighborhood on Bryan Avenue. Guests are encouraged to come out for a night of fun to enjoy the festival, have a drink at the brewery and watch the design process play out rain or shine. Additionally, Habitat for Humanity will have a curated pop-up Restore during the event and Rock House Brewing will have food trucks and live music scheduled for later in the evening.
