Update Your Info!

It's time to update your contact info for AIA Kentucky's annual membership directory. You should have received an earlier email requesting that you complete these updates by midnight today. If you haven't already, please take 5 minutes to complete the four questions in our survey so that your info will be listed correctly in this year's publication. Can't find the email? Email Kelly Ives, AIA to request another copy.

Seminar and Trade Show

At our workshop on May 3, you can earn 3 LU|HSW, hear a lunchtime presentation by former Cincinnati Reds pitcher, Tom Browning, visit dozens of exhibitor booths, and enter to win $500! This is a great opportunity to learn about codes governing the building envelope for multiple wall types, while catching up with colleagues and collecting some swag... but registration closes next Friday, April 28th, so don't wait. Sign Up Today!

Present at OVR 2017!

The AIA Ohio Valley Region Convention, planned for September 27-29, 2017, will bring together more than 350 architects and allied professionals from Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio for three days of programs and activities. Now is your chance to share your expertise with this crowd! Our programming committee will be accepting presentation submissions until next Friday, April 28, so visit our submission site and enter your program today!

Kentucky Events in Orlando

Heading to the Sunshine State for the A'17 Conference on Architecture? Please join your colleagues from Kentucky and the Ohio Valley Region for our state/regional gatherings while you're in town! We will have a regional luncheon on Wednesday, April 26, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, Plaza International Ballroom F. Come and hear updates on activity in the region and help us recognize the ELEVEN new fellows from KY, IN and OH. Be sure to register here by tomorrow, April 21.

Please also join us on Thursday the 27 for a joint Happy Hour with the UK College of Design! The gathering will take place on the patio at The Pub Pointe Orlando, from 5-6:30 p.m., so stop in for a drink and a bite with Kentucky friends and alumni before you head off to your evening plans in Orlando!
