Virtual SAP (Safety Assessment Program) training with AIA Illinois and AIA Wisconsin!
AIA Illinois will be hosting a virtual SAP Training April 22 & 23, 2021. Because this event is virtual, they are open to folks from other states joining, just do be aware that while the SAP training is all hazards, there will be examples and hazards specific to Illinois and neighboring states.
SAP (Safety Assessment Program) training will allow architects, engineers and building officials to become certified to inspect and assess buildings after a natural disaster. This will allow you to participate as a volunteer in assisting the local building officials as they work to evaluate the damage to buildings in the community. This allows people to return to their homes more quickly or start the process of rebuilding.
