OBITUARY
Daniel Frederick Christensen, AIA
Dan was born on May 29, 1942, in Manistique, the son of Frederick and Hazel (Grey) Christensen.

After high school, Dan furthered his education at Ferris State University with an Associate’s degree in Architectural Technology, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, from Lawrence Technological University in 1972. He had a private practice, Jason Christensen Architects from 1972-1984.

In 1984, Dan joined Giffels Hoyem Basso Architects as vicepresident. In 1999, Dan and his partners left GHB to form their own company Integrated Design Solutions (IDS) where he served as vice-president and director of construction administration, until his retirement in 2007. Read More
