You’ve seen the manuals and specified the products, but have you installed mechanical and epoxy anchors? Have you wondered how much of a difference it really makes to clean out the holes before setting an epoxy anchor, or how much edge distance effects tension capacity? For this event, tools, anchors, and epoxy will be provided, and you will get the chance to install anchors in concrete.

Founded in 1875, AIA Rhode Island is a statewide component of the American Institute of Architects, and is the seventh oldest AIA chapter. It is a professional association representing over 200 professionals and 35 affiliate members. Members adhere to a code of ethics and professional conduct that assures the client, the public, and colleagues of an AIA-member architect’s dedication to the highest standards in professional practice.
