AIA CENTRAL OKLAHOMA NEWS

Healthcare Professionals Need Our Help!
INTEGRIS

Integris is asking for the public's help while the coronavirus spreads in the state.  The medical group is asking for all types of masks including dust masks, painter masks, construction masks and surgical masks.

They are also asking for the following items:
Nitrile gloves
Eye protection
Impermeable gowns
Touchless thermometers
Hand sanitizer
Bleach wipes
Disinfectant wipes

"We know these items are scarce right now, but this type of personal protective equipment (PPE) is the only barrier between us and the disease. We need it to not only protect ourselves - but the community at large," the Integris spokeswoman said in a news release.

Donations will be accepted from 3 to 7 p.m. TODAY at the east parking lot of Integris Baptist Medical Center, 3300 Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City.

OTHER HOSPITALS IN YOUR AREA

Anyone who has healthcare PPE to donate can do so by contacting their county public health department or emergency management agency.

Norman Regional Health Systems Asks For Help

Due to a worldwide shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), Norman Regional Health System is asking for community support to sew cloth masks for our employees and providers, who we call healers.

At this time, the masks will NOT be used for clinical team members working with isolation patients. Our goal is to use these cloth masks for healers in non-clinical areas or for worried well patients. We are working hard to conserve our N95 masks and other PPE for the patient care healers working the front lines of this pandemic.

There are many options for cloth masks online. At this time, we are interested in the options listed here.

Please help us spread the word on social media and with your friends and neighbors.

Norman Regional is still in need of surgical/isolation masks, 70% hand sanitizer, protective eye wear and face shields as well as protective gowns and/or ponchos. More details can be found at  www.NRHFoundation.org/Care2020.

To donate cloth masks and other PPE, please call the Norman Regional Health Foundation at 405-307-1077 or email at  [email protected]. If you would like to mail your cloth masks please call the Foundation first at 405-307-1077.
