Architecture after 5 is free to our AIA, Associate AIA and Allied members and their guests.   

Architecture after 5 is meant to bring the local A/E/C community together throughout the year for some much needed social time.

The AIA Central Oklahoma November Luncheon will take place on Thursday, November 16th from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. at OSU-OKC in the Student Center on the 3rd Floor.  Our program is,

Associate Director on 2018 AIACOC Board
Are you an Associate AIA member pursuing licensure?  Are you interested in helping other Associate AIA members in their pursuit of licensure?  

The Associate Director position on the 2018 Board of Directors is an appointed position and is up for appointment in 2018.  The Associate Director is responsible for planning and executing ARE Study Sessions and Seminars.  In addition, the Associate Director is responsible for chapter fundraising and attending board meetings and events.

2018 AIA Architecture Tour

The 2018 AIA Architecture Tour is set for Saturday, April 14, 2018.  We're not accepting nominations for the tour!  

Speaking of the Architecture Tour, we're seeking volunteers for the 2018 AIA Architecture Tour Committee.  If you are interested in serving, please email Melissa at aiacoc@cox.net.  
Interested in Serving on the AIA Oklahoma Board?
AIA Oklahoma is the State Chapter of AIA and each local chapter places representatives on the AIA Oklahoma Board.  There is a 3-year director position open on the board.  The focus of the AIA Oklahoma Board is government affairs so an interest in government affairs is a plus.  This position must be filled by an AIA (licensed architect) member of AIA Central Oklahoma.   

A few of the duties of this position include:
- Attendance at monthly board meetings in Stroud, Oklahoma.  
- Participation in Architects Blitz the Capitol
- Fundraising for the AIA Oklahoma Conference on Architecture
- Attendance at the AIA Oklahoma Conference on Architecture

If you are interested in serving, please submit a letter of interest to the AIA Central Oklahoma Board of Directors at aiacoc@cox.net by Friday, November 3rd.  

Drinks X Design

Back by popular demand!  The Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture's Drinks X Design event will take place on
Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.  

Our stops all include architecture by local architects and fabulous food and drink from local restaurants & breweries!

Attendees will board a bus at the OKC Foundation for Architecture office at 1300 North Shartel Avenue and head out for an evening of architecture, food, drink and fun!
OKC Foundation for Architecture Members: $50
Nonmembers: $60

Preservation Oklahoma is proud of the work we do to inform Oklahomans about the importance of preserving our historic resources.  We are also fully aware that none of this would be possible without the generous support of our members! 
In order to thank them for their support, we are hosting a Porch Party at the Overholser Mansion on Monday, October 30 from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

The American Concrete Oklahoma Chapter meetings are the Second Tuesday of every month.
