AIANTA Highlights for the Coming Week

Travel to Emergence: Grand Canyon Intertribal Economic Summit

Last week I was fortunate to attend the Emergence: Grand Canyon Intertribal Economic Summit which brought together community leaders and entrepreneurs for four days of learning and shared insights about the Grand Canyon region. This was an inspiring step forward in an effort to build a more sustainable and equitable tourism economy in partnership with Native communities.

USDA Announces New Resource Guides for Tribal Governments, Citizens and Organizations

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Tribal Relations has released the newest editions of the USDA Resource Guide for American Indians and Alaska Natives 2022 and the USDA Native Youth Resource Guide 2022. Each guide provides valuable information to Indian Country and can serve as a roadmap of USDA resources and services available to tribal governments, citizens and organizations.
