Join us at Go International
April 19-20, 2022

Recently Intrepid Tours, a leading US wholesaler, announced the launch of eight new USA experiences that "amplify and celebrate BIPOC culture." Included in that new product is a backcountry hike of Montana with a Blackfeet guide and a tour of Little Big Horn with a Crow Nation historian.

Learn how to hone your message to tour operators like Intrepid at AIANTA's Sixth Annual Go International. All our speakers will bring actionable tips and advice on attracting international travelers, building group business and working with the media.

The two-day event concludes with a hands-on workshop where you will pitch your tourism product to an industry tour operator and get practical advice on what they are and aren't looking for in their Indigenous tourism partners.

Thanks to Our Go International Sponsors
AIANTA extends a warm thanks to Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation and Isleta Resort & Casino for sponsoring this event! Additional sponsorships are still available so please contact us if you're interested.

Help AIANTA Celebrate the Best in Native Tourism
Every year, AIANTA celebrates the best and brightest in Native travel and tourism at its annual Excellence in Tourism Industry Awards ceremony. The awards ceremony serves as the conclusion of the American Indian Tourism Conference (AITC) while showcasing the destinations and tourism professionals that are leaders in the hospitality industry.

Awards are presented in four categories
  • Tribal Destination of the Year
  • Best Cultural Heritage Experience
  • Excellence in Customer Service
  • Industry Professional of the Year

The award-winning tribes and Native businesses are selected because of their impact on tribal tourism and their demonstrated ability to showcase the very best of Native travel and tourism.

It is free to nominate your own destination or one you think deserves to be recognized. Please take a moment now to apply for this prestigious honor or to share your favorite Native visitor destination or hospitality professional.

The American Indian Tourism Conference is Seeking Sponsors
October 24-27, 2022

Plans are already underway for the 24th Annual American Indian Tourism Conference (AITC), which will be held Oct. 24-27, 2022, at Harrah’s Resort Southern California in partnership with the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians. As the hospitality industry continues to recover, AIANTA expects this year's AITC to attract more attendees than ever.

Sponsors of AITC help AIANTA lead critical discussions about Native tourism, while also providing the framework tribes and Indigenous communities need to develop, introduce, grow and sustain cultural tourism.

Sponsorships start from just $1,500.
