AIANTA Highlights for the Coming Week

Travel to South Dakota

This week the AIANTA team traveled to South Dakota to visit Tribes and tribal organizations along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. While there, AIANTA presented at the quarterly meeting for the South Dakota Native Tourism Alliance. We shared information on our work with the Lewis and Clark project and the importance of developing cultural tourism in their communities. It was a successful week and I hope to grow our relationship with the Tribes for some collective work together in the future!
