AIANTA at RES

Last week I attended the RES conference in Las Vegas, NV. It was great to reconnect with everyone and share the importance of cultural tourism. I also had the opportunity to join Native America Calling moderated by Alyssa London where we discussed the importance of storytelling and culture. If you missed the show, you can listen to it here.

AITC Silent Auction

The 24th American Indian Tourism Conference concludes with an evening gala, the Excellence in Tourism Industry Awards Gala and Silent Auction. This event celebrates leading indigenous visitor destinations and hospitality professionals.

For the event, we are seeking Silent Auction donations to support the American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian students pursuing post-secondary degrees in Hospitality and Tourism Management and other tourism-related fields.

Memorial Day

This Memorial Day we take a moment to thank the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. I would also like to recognize the fact that Native people serve in the U.S. military at the highest rate per capita and have served with distinction in every major conflict for over 200 years. Your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed.
