Let us stipulate that Palestinians are unhappy living under Israeli rule and that they face many hardships. The question they face is how to improve their situation and, ideally, achieve independence.

To their misfortune, Palestinian leaders have eschewed the one way to reach their goals, namely negotiation.

The Murder of American Jewish Soldiers

Approximately 600,000 Jews served in the United States armed forces in World War II. More than 35,000 were killed, wounded, captured, or missing. Approximately 8,000 died in combat. Those soldiers were casualties of war, but there were others among those who were captured who became victims of the Holocaust — singled out for death because they were Jews.

The Iranian Ballistic Missile Program
In violation of a United Nations ban on testing of missiles that could possibly deliver a nuclear warhead, Iran tested a new missile known as the Emad in as early as October 2015. In February 2022, Iran unveiled its “Khaybar Sheikan” (Khaybar Buster) missile, which has a purported range of more than 900 miles, sufficient to reach Israel.

First Muslim Member of Israel’s Supreme Court
Abdel Rahman Zuabi took his seat on March 3, 1999, as the first Arab to sit on the Supreme Court. The second, Salim Joubran, was appointed to the court in 2003. George Karra joined the court in 2017 and, in 2022, Khaled Kabub became the first Muslim judge appointed to the court.
