I have just returned from Corning, NY, where I attended a class called ‘Make Your Own Pate De Verre Vessel’ with Shin-ichi Higuchi. I managed to do so due to your (AIDA) generous funding.

This course was great. It was intense; work lasted from early morning to late night. Yet, time passed by very quickly. Master Higuchi had a lot to teach us and was very generous in sharing his knowledge and techniques. The course and the Corning glass institute as a whole were very professional, well organized and helpful.

All in all, this was a pleasant and meaningful experience in which I learned a lot and obtained tools which I will for sure implement in my work. I feel that this trip advanced my artistic growth and I want to thank you for your part in this process.
