Each year, Birmingham’s Mitnick Fellows join over 18,000 pro Israel advocates at the AIPAC Policy Conference
Apply to be a Mitnick Fellow
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee's annual Policy Conference is coming up and The Birmingham Jewish Federation and Birmingham Jewish Foundation are providing an opportunity for young leaders to attend. The Foundation’s Mitnick Fellowship Fund was established by Willine and J. George Mitnick, of blessed memory, to provide Israel advocacy training experiences —such as this AIPAC conference—to teach potential young leaders how to be effective proponents for strong ties between Israel and the United States. This year's conference will be held March 1-3, 2020, in Washington DC. The conference is the largest gathering of America's pro-Israel community.

Through demonstrations of groundbreaking Israeli innovations, keynote speeches by American and Israeli leaders, inspiring moments on stage, and intimate educational sessions, Policy Conference delegates experience the full scale of pro-Israel activism in three powerful days, as well as the opportunity to meet with our elected representatives.

To apply to become a Mitnick Fellow, contact The Birmingham Jewish Federation’s Lauren Pyle Klinner at Laurenp@bjf.org by Friday, January 24 th , 2020. Click for link to application.
