Phase three bond purchases include new instruments, uniforms and equipment
Fine Arts Update
Junior high music uniforms and a concert piano for the future Fine Arts Center, along with hundreds of new instruments, highlighted phase three fine arts bond purchases.
To date, the AISD security department has installed new security cameras and network video recorders at 53 campuses with funds from the 2014 Bond program. By the end of the five-year bond program, all campuses will receive new cameras.
Bus orders from the first three phases of the five-phase 2014 Bond program are now complete. The final seven buses of phase three arrived in Arlington on Aug. 29.
The AISD ordered and received 20 new buses in phase three, 13 regular education propane buses and seven special education diesel buses.
