Motivated by the pay-offs for stolen health information, hackers are developing enhanced proficiency in identifying and exploiting healthcare vulnerabilities in this infrastructure that is already known for weaker security defenses. HealthCare organizations that don't have the proper technical, physical and administrative safeguards in place are at the greatest risk for an attack.

Abramson Center Receives 5 Star Rating from the
Centers of Medicare and Medicaid

Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life
(North Wales, PA)
The Abramson Center has received an overall rating of five stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

This achievement is a result of the sustained efforts by many Abramson Center staff members to improve quality measures. Over the past few years, CMS has expanded the list to include a focus on short-term rehabilitation outcomes such as functional improvement and avoidance of re-hospitalization. To meet these challenges, the Abramson Center developed teams which focused on these and other quality areas.
