SOUTH DAKOTA #101
HIGH-VOLUME SNOW GOOSE HUNT (LAST SPOTS FOR 2025)
| |
|
This terrific multi-species outfitter in northeastern South Dakota has been in business for over 20 years and knows what it takes to make your spring snow goose hunt a memorable one. They utilize huge decoy spreads, electronic calls, comfortable layout blinds and much more. They are full-time guides/outfitters who hunt for a living, and their second-to-none customer service results in a high percentage of repeat clients.
The season only lasts from early March thru early April, and only a small number of groups can be accommodated during this time. Although this outfitter is located on one of the largest snow goose flyways, the migration is weather-dependent, so it is helpful if your group can be a bit flexible with your dates or even be “on call”. No one will work harder to give you the best opportunity, and they aren’t afraid to pick up and move the entire spread for the next day’s hunt, or to re-schedule or even cancel your hunt if they feel that the conditions are not right for the dates you have booked.
There is no daily or possession limit on snow geese, and you are allowed to hunt with unplugged shotguns. A group size of 6 hunters will allow you to hunt in your own exclusive field, but groups with less than 6 hunters can reserve their exclusive field for an additional charge. If you don’t have 6, you will be combined with other smaller groups to reach the desired number of hunters in each field. Even singles are welcome!
Very few South Dakota snow goose operations provide lodging, but this one does. You can stay in 1 of 5 very nice lodges based on the size of your group. No meals are provided, but there are plenty of dining options about 15 minutes away, or you can prepare your own meals in the lodge’s fully-stocked kitchen.
| |
|
2-Day Hunt/3 Nights’ Lodging – $590 per person
3-Day Hunt/4 Nights’ Lodging – $840 per person
South Dakota sales tax (6.5%), licenses (approx. $45) and tips are extra. Bird cleaning is not provided (cleaning stations available).
However, we prefer the PREMIER PACKAGE for just $595 per person per day. These hunts utilize full-body decoy spreads (when needed). They can take up to 8 hunters at a time, but 6 hunters will reserve the pit exclusively for your group (if 5 or fewer hunters, you may be put with another smaller group, or you can pay for 6 hunters and have exclusive rights to the field). It includes all meals (breakfast and lunch will be cooked and served in the pit while hunting; supper will be served at the lodge) and bird cleaning (no one wants to clean birds after a long day of hunting).
2025 DATES: March 16 thru 20
March 22 thru 27
March 29 thru April 5

ALASKA #140
SPRING BLACK BEARS
| |
|
This is a spot & stalk hunt which takes place by boat in the bays and inlets of southeast Alaska. In this maritime environment with the abundance of fish, bears can grow 19+” skulls in 6-7 years, while in many areas that black bears live they would require twice that to reach those sizes. Opportunity is normally 100% and success very close to that.
You will most likely stay aboard a custom-built 31’ aluminum boat. It has comfortable bunks for two people, as well as a nice galley, an enclosed cabin, private head, and fishing gear. Meals are top notch! Hunting will be mainly from skiffs as you probe the beaches and tidal flats of coves and inlets, but fall hunts can also utilize quads to access some new logging areas that are thick with berries. These hunts are not very physically demanding and make a great hunt for parent/child.
| |
|
This outfitter normally takes only 4 people at a time, but can accommodate a larger group using sleeping tents on land (or in a cabin, at extra cost). Prices is just $7,200 per person 2x1 for a 5-day hunt (1x1 also available for $2,500 extra), plus applicable taxes. Licenses/tags are guaranteed (no draw!), but the cost is not included. Clients are responsible for their own transportation to/from Ketchican.
DATES: May 9-16 (4 spots)

FLORIDA #253
AFFORDABLE GATORS AND HOGS
| |
|
We work with a quality outfitter in central Florida (just 2-3 hrs. from either coast!) that specializes in gators and Osceola turkeys (along with hogs and exotics). There are over 1 million gators in Florida, and he hunts thousands of acres of private and public land. His very high-success and affordable public land hunts are conducted on Lake Okeechobee from August 15 to October 31 and are done in the evenings using bow, crossbow, or rod & reel, while the year-round private land hunts are conducted all day and rifles can be used.
We think his public land gator hunts are exceptional, and an outstanding value. He offers evening/nighttime hunts for gators in the 6-8ft. range, as well as hunts for big trophy “dinosaur” gators of 9+ ft. He has averaged close to 11 ft. on these trophy gator hunts over the last few years, with near 100% success! But tags are very limited, so book now before it’s too late!

ALASKA #17
SELF-GUIDED FISHING ADVENTURE
| |
|
Have you dreamed of fishing in Alaska but $5,000-$8,000 trips were more than you could afford? How about approx. $1,800 per person? We have been enjoying this trip on Prince of Wales Island ourselves nearly annually for about 20 years, and have brought many friends along as well.
Prince of Wales Island (accessed via Ketchican) is a pristine sportsmen’s paradise in southeast Alaska. Rivers, ponds, lakes, streams, bays – the list is a long one, and hundreds of miles of inland and ocean water await you. You can spin fish or fly fish, as both are equally productive, and you can do saltwater too! Halibut, rock fish, ling cod, various species of salmon and more, by boat or from shore.
-
This resort supplies you with your choice of very nice lodging accommodations, a 17’ boat (with chart plotter/fish finder) with motor and trailer, a 4WD vehicle, crab traps, and a map of the island with a list of 30 or so places to stream fish. There are 9 rental cottages/chalets in all, each with 1-2 bedrooms, kitchen, private bath, and a porch. There is also a hot tub, a fish processing area, a big BBQ, and much more. You pay for your gas, you buy your own food and do your own cooking, and you can spend a week fishing Alaska and exploring. Great family fun, or for a bunch of guys or gals. Bring back up to 50 pounds of fish apiece!
| |
|
Prices vary based on the accommodations and the size of your group, but it can be done for as low as $1,750 per person for a group of 4, plus tax, ferry and shuttle. You can also book a guided saltwater or freshwater charter at extra charge. Just ask us for more info and we can get you quote, but 2025 is nearly full!

NEW MEXICO #90
HIGH COUNTRY RIFLE OR ARCHERY BULL ELK
| |
|
We book more elk hunts than anything else, and this is one of our most popular elk hunts. This northwest New Mexico (around Chama) outfitter has been featured on numerous television shows with many well-known hunting celebrities. We have sent countless clients to him over the 15+ years we’ve been working with him, with high success. He is one of our favorites, with a reputation for honesty, hard work and producing elk. This is a high-success hunt for 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. Most will be 260”-290”. Most are solid mature bulls, but every year is different, usually due to moisture.
While many of the ranches this outfitter hunts are lower-lying, perhaps his most enjoyable hunt is his High Country camp. Situated on private ground at over 10,000 feet, it is a comfortable camp with generator power, a shower and a flush toilet. They take only take 6 hunters per week, and all hunts are booked in pairs (only 2x1 guiding available at this camp). With the higher elevations, bulls are often still bugling into late and mid-October. But this same elevation makes this hunt best-suited for hunters that are non-smokers and not greatly overweight.

NEWFOUNDLAND #47
BULL MOOOSE
| |
|
Our agent in Canada has found us another high-quality, fly-in moose operation on “The Rock”. After getting a couple of recommendations from a friend of his that co-hosts a very popular hunting show in Canada, he quickly identified this operation on Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula as being exactly what our clients would want, and we are very pleased to have them on board with us.
They offer fly-in hunts from either one of two main lodges, or trophy hunts from one of their various spike camps. The lodge will have 4-6 hunters per week, and their spike camps generally have just 1 hunter and 1 guide per week. All of these locations are remote, and boast untouched nature at its finest, with wooded areas, barrens, mountains and bogs, with very little hunting pressure. Each location is a short flight by float plane or helicopter from Hawkes Bay.
Since this outfitter took over this hunting area in 2019, they can boast an annual success rate of approx. 80%-85%, with an opportunity rate of 90+%. It just doesn’t get much better than that! But being able to get around on foot (and possibly in/out of a small boat) is essential, and the more mobile you are, the better your chance of success (especially for bigger bulls). In terms of trophy quality, most bulls harvested will be between 35”-50”, but they have taken them as big as 52”.
| |
|
A main lodge hunt is $10,500 USD per person 2x1 or $12,000 per person 1x1. Spike camp trophy hunts are $14,500 USD per person 1x1. Add black bear for $1,500 per person. Hunts are 6 days and you are expected to arrive in Deer Lake on the Saturday before the hunt begins and depart on the Monday following the hunt. Just a few dates remain for 2025.
Lodge: September 21-28 (4 spots), September 28-October 5 (1 spot)
Spike Camp: September 14-21 (1 spot), September 20-27 (1 spot)

ARGENTINA #33
OUTSTANDING HIGH-VOLUME DOVE HUNTING
| |
|
Argentina is possibly THE premiere destination for world-class wingshooting for doves and pigeons. These birds number in the millions, and have become an agricultural plague. As a result, the hunting season is year round, and it is not uncommon to shoot 1,000 or more birds per day!
This outfitter is offering a special wingshooting package in the Tras la Sierra Valley in the Province of Cordoba, surrounded by high mountains where farmers grow sunflower, corn, peanuts, sorghum and others.
| |
This NO LIMIT 3-day/4-night dove and pigeon hunt is just $2,950 USD per person, including meals & alcohol, lodging, license, gun rental AND 1,000 SHOTGUN SHELLS (20 GAUGE) PER PERSON! That is an incredible deal, as shells are approx. $16.50/box, so that alone would cost you close to $700! A “bird boy” is included, as is first class ground transfers from the airport. Accommodations are in a 5-star lodge with swimming pool, just 30 minutes from the hunting grounds. Golfing is also available nearby. International flights are available directly into Cordoba, or via Buenos Aires.
REQUIRES A MIN. GROUP OF 4 HUNTERS TO BOOK. | |

ALBERTA #21
HUNT-NATION EXCLUSIVE: TROPHY RIFLE WHITETAILS
| |
|
This outfitter is part of one of the best-known outfitting families in western and northern Canada. He is a small, family-run operation and takes very few hunters per season.
He hunts both public “leased land” and hard-to-access private lands (including his own) in east-central Alberta, between Edmonton and Provost. Whitetails will normally run 145+”, but the outfitter feels that things are looking particular good for this season (they saw a lot of very good whitetail bucks in 2024, and hardly anyone hunted them!). Hunts are 6 days and are conducted from blinds/stands.
| |
|
Price is $4,500 per person 1x1. Guiding, meals, lodging and pick up from Edmonton Airport are included. Licenses/tags are extra (clients must obtain an Alberta WIN card/number in advance).
2025 DATES: November 1-20, 2025 (4 spots in total)

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES #283
LAST MINUTE ARCTIC WOLF
| |
|
This long-time multi-species outfitter has been operating in the Arctic for many years. The wolf population on these barren-lands is high, estimated in the thousands. It is also a prime area for wolverines.
This is a spot and stalk hunt, which means you’ll be glassing areas that have caribou, as the wolves follow the caribou. You will be out glassing and hunting for 10 hours a day. Expect to travel many miles by snowmobile each day, looking for fresh wolf sign. When a pack is located, it is not uncommon to be able to harvest more than one animal, as these wolves rarely if ever see humans in this remote area. But hunts for these intelligent animals are tough, requiring a lot of mental stamina and patience, often in harsh conditions. Opportunity rate is usually approx. 75%, but their very recent success has been 100%, with 8 wolves taken in 2 days last week. And the hide on these wolves is simply stunning.
| |
|
Price is $8,500 USD per person 2x1 for a 6-day hunt, and a 2nd wolf is $1,000 USD. Wolverine is $1,500 USD. 5% tax, license/tags and export permit fees are extra. You must fly into Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, and the outfitter will pick you up from there.
2025 DATES:
March 11-16 (2 spots)
March 17-22 (4 spots)
March 23-28 (1 spot)
