This northwest New Mexico (around Chama) outfitter has been featured on numerous television shows with many well-known hunting celebrities. We have sent countless clients to him over the 15+ years we’ve been working with him, with very high success. He is one of our absolute favorites, with a reputation for honesty, hard work and producing elk. This is a high-success hunt for 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. Most will be 270”-290”, with a few 300+”. Most are solid mature bulls, but every year is different, usually due to moisture.

You can spin fish or fly fish, as both are equally productive, and you can do saltwater too! Halibut, rock fish, ling cod, various species of salmon and more, by boat or from shore.

This resort supplies you with your choice of very nice lodging accommodations, a 17’ boat (with chart plotter/fish finder) with motor and trailer, a 4WD vehicle, crab traps, and a map of the island with a list of 30 or so places to stream fish. There are 9 rental cottages/chalets in all, each with 1-2 bedrooms, kitchen, private bath, and a porch. There is also a hot tub, a fish processing area, a big BBQ, a tackle shop and much more. The upcoming 2025 season will mark this Alaskan Master Guide's 41th year operating on Kodiak island. He offers comparatively low-cost hunt options for mountain goat and brown bear hunters willing to play the odds with Alaska's random draw system. Many Hunt Nation clients have been lucky enough to draw the first year they apply, but you must be booked, and have a contract with an outfitter before you are eligible to apply. Application periods open November 1st and end the 15th of December, so call our office today.

Brown bear numbers have been on a steady upswing on Kodiak Island in recent years, so this is the time to go! We consider him to be one of the best there is on the island. This is one of the world’s best and most classic bear hunts, and this guy takes majestic “Kodiak” bears that consistently exceed 9’, and he can average 9.5’ in a good year! And the 10-footers are there as well. The season is mid-April to mid-May, and late October to early November.

He offers spring and fall hunts, from a tent camp hunt, (some Alaska brown bear hunts are $25,000!). All hunts are 10 days. (Add Sitka black tail, no draw required or Mt goat if you draw it, fall hunts only). A deposit is required to apply for the draw. Fully refunded or rolled to next year if unsuccessful in the draw.

Dove hunting put Argentina on the map for serious traveling sportsmen seeking the best in volume shooting. Our agent Don Sangster brought this outfitter to us after personally visiting there. On his first evening’s dove hunt, he said there was virtually no time when a dove wasn’t visible somewhere in the sky. During his visit, another guest shot 1,000 doves in one day, and he only hunted until early afternoon!

This lodge has their own dove roost right on the property, with a population of about 10 million birds! This means you can WALK from the luxurious lodge to your dove blind. No need to cram a bunch of hunters into a crowded van for a long drive to/from the dove’s fields. But what makes this lodge really unique is that they don’t just offer doves. Unlike many doves-only operations in Argentina, this lodge offers a true mixed-bag shooting experience, including about 10 different species of ducks (20 bird limit!), quail-like perdiz over Brittany Spaniels, pigeons, and even world-class fishing for the hard-fighting and acrobatic golden dorado. In fact, many guests travel to this lodge just for the outstanding dorado action!

This Utah fly fishing lodge is truly one of the great western fly fishing lodges. This lodge is open year-round and fly-fishing and bird watching is ideal from April through November, with the peak river season being June thru October. From September thru November, they offer Cast & Blast packages at their Orvis-Endorsed Hunting Grounds, the largest hunting grounds in all of Utah. Pheasant Hunting continues all fall and winter.

Clients truly enjoy wade/walk fly fishing with some of the best guides Utah has to offer. You can experience picturesque fly fishing on Rock Creek, the Duchesne, Lake Fork, Strawberry, Uintah, Whiterocks and Yellowstone Rivers. This lodge holds the only National Forest guide permits which means you will not run into other guided fisherman on these rivers. These streams on the south slope of the High Uintas provide the excitement and challenges of catching wild trout including rainbows, cutthroat, tiger, brook and brown trout.

The pheasant hunting season on the lodge’s private preserves goes from September to the end of March. This specially managed habitat is perfect for pheasants and pheasant reproduction. The 15,000 square foot lodge was designed specifically to provide the ultimate lodging experience for secluded fly fishing and wingshooting adventures. There are only eight guest rooms in the lodge, this ensures your seclusion and privacy. 

This ranch is the 2^nd largest in the state of Ohio with 8,500 contiguous acres. It is carefully managed to produce trophy whitetail and turkey. With 60 stand locations spread over 12+ miles along with 40 trail cameras they are up to date on what the deer are doing. With 5-6 hunters per week and 35 for the season you can expect a quality hunting experience. The target is for deer 140” and bigger with a minimum limit of 130” deer. Hunting is done by tree stands, ground and elevated blinds. There are no deer drives permitted as drives are the largest source of wounded deer and miss-judgement of antler size. Ohio is in the top 5 when it comes to B&C entries with over 800 in the books.

In 2024 opportunity on whitetails was close to 100% with an overall success rate of 70% with an average score of 140” and the biggest deer taken going 172”. A patient hunter during a 5 day hunt should have a great opportunity at taking a trophy deer.

The lodge is a beautiful place where besides hosting hunters can be used for corporate meetings, fund raisers, reunions and so forth. With the ability to sleep up to 20 guests and a fulltime chef in house this truly is a top end place to hunt from. The lodge has ample parking, internet, cell reception, cable television along with a restaurant level kitchen. Given that is also a full time cattle ranch if you like premium beef for dinner look no farther.

As an added bonus the property has 170 acres of water comprised of 14 lakes and 10 ponds that hold bass, bluegill, crappie and paddlefish.  Additionally, they have stocked the lakes with 4,400 paddlefish.
