AKF Names Frank Angelini as National
Science & Technology Practice Leader
We are excited to announce that Frank Angelini has been named AKF's National Science and Technology Practice Leader. Through 28 years of laboratory, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotech engineering design and project management, Frank has established himself as an industry leader in features of laboratory design such as cGMP compliance, clean rooms, and biocontainment.

As National Science and Technology Practice Leader, Frank will be responsible for the strategic growth of the firm's presence in the life sciences industry.He will oversee AKF's design of research facilities across all offices, disciplines, and sectors. Whether developing a space where life-saving vaccines will be discovered, or designing a university lab to inspire the next generation of researchers, Frank's expertise will guide project teams to innovative solutions.
Frank's ability to collaborate with clients to clearly understand their unique needs and translate those needs into building system design can be seen in his successful projects completed worldwide with clients such as Alcon, Sanofi Genzyme, GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb, NASA, Merck, and Pfizer.

"Science has been a passion of mine for many years," Frank said. "Pharmaceutical companies, biotech, and education facilities play an important role in in our everyday lives. Being part of a team and applying our engineering expertise is extremely rewarding and satisfying."

Under Frank's leadership, AKF will continue creating spaces that facilitate important research and vaccine developments.
