New Orleans has had a month of music festivals culminating this weekend. The energy in the city has been fabulous. Irma Thomas the Queen of Soul on stage with the Rolling Stones... Stellar!!!

We were lucky to have Mackenzie Thorpe visit from the UK and he spread the love...

May is another celebratory month and one of transition. May Day symbolizes the opportunity to recognize life's ephemeral, transitory nature and be grateful for our time passing through it.

As the flowers burst and fruits begin to bloom, so does our natural instinct to get out there and celebrate life.

Cinco de Mayo, May 5th, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.

This day has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage.

Mother's Day, the 12th, is a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and their influence in society. Celebrated in many parts of the world, we honor the women who bore us, loved us, raised us, comforted us and sent us into the world ready to handle it!

Thank you Moms!

Memorial Day, the 27th, is set aside to honor and remember military servicemen and women whose lives were lost while serving their country. Much gratitude.
